At Wizz Kids we provide a wide range of activities that meet the needs of all children in a safe, fun and caring environment.
We are registered with OFSTED to provide before and after school care for 60 children. Within the recommended guidelines, we will operate the minimum ratio of 1 adult per 8 children. A qualified first aider will be present at all times. All staff working for Wizz Kids have Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and will be suitably qualified.
Wizz Kids collects children from the Wickford area only. Providing affordable childcare for parents who need this service.
The Breakfast Club will be open from 7:00am - 8:45am children will then be escorted to their school by members of our staff. The After School Club will be open from 3:00pm - 6:00pm children will be collected from their respective schools by a member of staff and escorted to the club.
Parents must complete an online registration form before their children attend and 1 month’s written notice, to expire the end of a calendar month, is required to alter the pattern of attendance or leaving the club. Changes of attendance are not guaranteed and may only be offered if your preferred new pattern of attendance is available. Fees are charged monthly and are due on or before the 1st of each month and should be paid electronically.
Wizz Kids is open to all children regardless of their circumstances or individual requirements. Children and staff are expected to treat each other with courtesy and respect at all times. Positive behaviour will be actively encouraged, unacceptable behaviour will be discouraged and discussed with parents. Any child who repeatedly abuses the rights of staff and the other children may be temporarily or permanently excluded.
Children will only be handed to the adults named on the registration form and must be collected by 6:00pm. A late collection charge of £15 for any collection between 6:01pm - 6:10pm £5 for each subsequent 10 minutes after 6:10pm. This will be added to your next monthly invoice.
Healthy drinks and snacks will be provided at the club.
Staff may administer medication if a parent/carer has signed the appropriate form.
Parents/carers must notify us at the earliest opportunity of any dates on which your child will not be attending the club.
